Kristen Cheesman, MA
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
I've found it helpful in my practice to be direct and to the point, while maintaining
professional and nurturing relationships with my clients. I believe strongly in
modeling healthy boundaries, and helping clients to strengthen their own. When
we accept responsibility for the quality of our own lives, change begins immediately.
Allowing someone to face those challenges with you can be one of the hardest
aspects of starting psychotherapy. Of the many important factors in this decision,
feeling that there is a good match between you and your therapist is key to making
the process work for you. I offer respect, non-judgment and empathy so that the
therapeutic relationship gives you the opportunity for awareness that allows you to
grow and find new ways of thinking, feeling and behaving. I want to help you feel
better in the shortest time possible so you can begin ENJOYING your life again.
