Dr. Louis Krupnick, Ed.D., Licensed Psychologist

Louis Krupnick has 30 years of broad clinical experience working with children, adolescents,
adults and couples.

Louis has helped hundreds of individuals, couples and families when someone's use of alcohol
and drugs has become problematic.  In 1985 he co-authored
From Despair to Decision, a family
intervention guide.

One area of special interest is the treatment of anxiety, including phobias, panic attacks and
obsessive-compulsive problems.  He also enjoys helping competitive athletes reach their
highest potential.  He has advanced certificates in clinical hypnosis.

Before forming Krupnick Counseling Associates in 2000, Louis was Director of Behavioral
Health Services at Longmont United Hospital.
Kristen Cheesman, MA, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Kristen Cheesman is the associate director of Krupnick Counseling Associates.  She works with
children, adolescents, adults and families.  She is trained in both art and play therapy, and uses
these modalities regularly in her work with children and adolescents.  She has over 15 years of
experience with childhood issues including depression, family conflict, grief, self-esteem,
school-related issues and children of alcoholics.

Kristen's background includes positions as a school-based interventionist with the Boulder
Mental Health Center, psychiatric triage evaluator at Boulder Community Hospital and
adolescent residential treatment provider in Adams County.

Rhonda Beaupre, MA, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Rhonda Beaupre works with children, adolescents, adults and seniors.  She has a special interest
working with adolescents with depression and school problems and with children and adults
who have been abused.  Additionally, she has experience working with individuals and families
with issues such as blended families, marital conflict, grief and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Rhonda's background includes work in community mental health and school settings.  Formally
she was team leader of the Adolescent Day Treatment Program at Boulder Mental Health Center.

Bill Semple has been a psychotherapist for 25 years in the Boulder area.  He works with adult
clients, both individually and with couples, exploring a wide range of problems, including
anxiety, depression and addiction issues.  He has a special interest in working with clients with a
history of trauma.  He is experienced integrating meditative approaches in his work with clients.

Bill worked as a clinical social worker for over 20 years in a community mental health setting
before joining Krupnick Counseling Associates.

Dr. Richard Jones, Ph.D., Licensed Psychologist

Richard's professional career spans over twenty years.  He works with children, adolescents adults.  
He specializes in helping clients with parenting issues including parent-child conflict.  An area of
particular interest is the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents with ADD/ADHD.  
He also has an extensive background working with individuals with anxiety, panic disorders and
depression.

Richard has worked in community-based behavioral health clinics, academic settings and as a
psychologist in private practice.

Linda McCrosson, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Linda works with children, adolescents, adults and couples.  Linda has a rich background in
helping children and adolescents.  One area of special interest is helping kids who have anxiety
issues associated with childhood trauma, often using the EMDR technique which has been shown
to be extremely effective.  Linda has experience as an educational consultant and has been a
resource specialist and chair of the special education department in public high school.  

Her personal background and training enables her to work effectively with families who wish to
incorporate Christian scripture in their therapeutic work.
Haven Howell, M.D., Consulting Psychiatrist

Dr. Howell is a Board certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist.  In addition to
maintaining a private practice, she is an expert in the assessment and treatment of children and
adolescents with autism spectrum disorders and Asperger's Syndrome.  She has a special interest
in the treatment of addictive disorders.  Formerly, Dr. Howell was the Medical Director of the
Child Clinic at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center where she was on the faculty.  
Dr. Howell and Dr. Krupnick are married with a blended family of four adult children.
Robert Bein, M.D., Consulting Psychiatrist

Dr. Bein is a Board Certified Adult Psychiatrist.  He has been on the staff at Boulder Mental Health
Center for many years with a broad practice in both outpatient and inpatient psychiatry.  Dr. Bein
offers psychotherapy, medication assessments and monitoring for patients with mood disorders
and a variety of concerns.

Kathleen has been a psychotherapist for over 25 years.  She works with adults presenting with a
wide range of issues including anxiety, depression and grief.  Kathleen has a special interest in
stress management and stress related medical disorders (insomnia, headaches, irritable bowel
syndrome).  Additionally, Kathleen has specialized training in marriage and family therapy
and provides marriage counseling.

Kathleen has worked in substance abuse, community mental health, university student health
and private practice settings since 1976.
